As the 2024 election enters its final stretch, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are making a last push to sway voters. Trump will spend his final day campaigning in three crucial battleground states, starting in North Carolina before heading to Pennsylvania and Michigan. Meanwhile, Harris will be concentrating her efforts in Pennsylvania, making stops in Allentown, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia.
Harris’ campaign is planning an Election Night event packed with star power, aiming to energize voters with performances by Lady Gaga and appearances from celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Ricky Martin, Jazmine Sullivan, The Roots, and DJ Cassidy.
Polls show the race is extraordinarily tight, with some projections suggesting that a mere thousand votes could determine the outcome. The University of Florida’s Election Lab reports that more than 78 million Americans have already cast their ballots, signaling the high stakes of this election. President Joe Biden voted on October 28 in his home state, Delaware.
The outcome of the 2024 presidential election will likely hinge on voting preferences in seven pivotal swing states. In 2020, President Joe Biden claimed victory in six of these battlegrounds, while Donald Trump secured only North Carolina.
