In a remarkable achievement, Air Serbia soared to new heights in June 2024, transporting 439,051 passengers on both scheduled and charter flights. This represents an increase of 16,688 passengers compared to the same month last year. The Serbian national carrier also operated 4,466 flights from Belgrade, Niš, and Kraljevo airports, a 3% rise from June 2023.
With these impressive numbers, Air Serbia has shattered its previous June records for both passenger volume and flight operations, set just last year. This milestone highlights the airline’s continued growth and resilience in the competitive aviation market.
Starting on Sept. 30, 2024, Air Serbia will launch direct flights between Belgrade and Guangzhou (CAN) in the People’s Republic of China. Less than two years after introducing scheduled flights between Belgrade and Tianjin, the Serbian national carrier continues to expand its operations in the Asian market.
During the current summer season, which runs until October 26 in the aviation industry, Air Serbia will operate flights between Belgrade and Guangzhou twice a week.
