After an 18-year pause, Munich is officially back in Air Serbia’s network. The Serbian national airline has resumed direct flights between Belgrade and Bavaria’s largest city with flight JU342/3, bringing back a daily connection to one of Europe’s most important business and travel hubs.

The new service is a major boost for anyone travelling between Serbia and Germany, whether for work, a weekend escape, a trade fair, or a longer journey through Europe and beyond. With Munich once again on the route map, Air Serbia is strengthening its presence in the German market while making travel between Belgrade, Bavaria, and connecting destinations even easier.

“By commencing a direct route between Belgrade and Munich, we are further strengthening our presence on the German market and improving Serbia’s connectivity with an important transport and economic hub in Europe,” said Jiří Marek, CEO of Air Serbia. “Munich is a significant destination both for business travellers and tourists. By introducing daily flights, we are reaffirming our commitment to expanding our network and continuously responding to market and passenger needs, while also enabling fast and convenient connections via Belgrade to our wide network of destinations.”

Air Serbia now flies directly from Belgrade and Niš to as many as ten destinations in Germany. The Belgrade–Munich route will operate daily, with morning departures from Belgrade on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 7:10 a.m., and return flights from Munich at 9:30 a.m. On Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, flights from Belgrade depart at 5:55 p.m., with return flights from Munich at 8:15 p.m.
