Commencing from April to October 2024, in collaboration with Mostar Airport, Air Serbia will operate scheduled passenger flights between Belgrade and Mostar, offering travelers a splendid opportunity to explore this historic destination.
The flights will take place three times a week – on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays, hosted by the powerful Embraer E175 aircraft. As the sun-kissed days unfold, passengers will be treated to a seamless blend of comfort and elegance on this captivating journey.
In a strategic move responding to Mostar Airport’s Public Call for scheduled flights in 2024, Air Serbia’s proposal was met with approval at the dawn of January.
Boško Rupić, the General Manager Commercial and Strategy at Air Serbia, shared his excitement, stating, “Once technical details and contract signing are finalized, fares will be published presumably in the coming weeks.”
This expansion not only signifies Air Serbia’s commitment to enhancing travel experiences but also serves as a significant milestone in fostering economic, business, and cultural ties between Belgrade and Mostar. The direct service will not only connect these two cities but will also facilitate convenient travel between Mostar, via Belgrade, and various cities across Western and Northern Europe and the United States of America.
Mostar is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s premier tourist destinations. The iconic Old Bridge, an enduring symbol of the city, has held its UNESCO cultural world heritage status since 2005, alongside the Old City. With Air Serbia weaving Mostar into its expansive network, the airline is set to soar to a total of 17 cities across the former Yugoslavia.
