“I continue to be inspired by the goodwill shown to me, and hope that the coming days will provide an opportunity to reflect on all that has been achieved during the last seventy years,” the Queen said in her Jubilee message.

More than 1,400 soldiers and 250 horses from the British Army’s Household Division have taken part in the Trooping of the Color in front of thousands of spectators, for Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The Queen’s Birthday Parade is a major military spectacle and the start of the celebrations.
