Good Morning DC,
As a young journalist strides into the White House briefing room, seeking guidance amidst the chaos, I offer a simple piece of advice: “Don’t take it personally.”
In Washington DC, you’re here to do a job, and those power-hungry, not-so-friendly officials are here to do theirs. In this high-stakes world of political journalism, resilience is your best accessory.
For in this unforgiving landscape, persistence is not just a virtue—it’s a necessity.
Let’s get you caught up with the news of the day.

At the Munich Security Conference, Vice President Kamala Harris addressed the tragic passing of Russian political opposition leader Alexei Navalny.
“Whatever story they tell, let us be clear that Russia is responsible,” she said. Harris also extended her recognition to Navalny’s wife, Yulia, who is in attendance at the Munich Security Conference.
