Good Morning DC,

Today, voters head to the polls in New Hampshire.

“We started off with 13 and now we are down to two people, and I think one person will be gone probably tomorrow,” Trump told supporters on Monday.

Is Nikki Haley’s campaign truly reaching its conclusion?

Let’s get you caught up with the news of the day.

President Biden will hold a campaign event today in Manassas, Virginia.

Today marks one of the most anticipated days in American politics. All polls suggest a good night for Donald Trump in New Hampshire.

The extent of his success in a potential rematch with Joe Biden across the country is yet to be seen. The battle for independent voters, a substantial demographic, will play a crucial role in determining the election outcome.

South Carolina is the inaugural state for Joe Biden in the 2024 election, marking its significance as a strategic choice by the Democrats. This decision is influenced by Biden’s previous loss in New Hampshire during the 2020 election, prompting Democrats to aim for a resurgence of his electoral success in South Carolina.

Trump currently leads the head-to-head against Biden by 7 points according to the January Harvard CAPS / Harris poll. Americans see immigration as the most important issue the nation is facing.

Dean Phillips has reversed course on the “No Labels Ticket” and declared his candidacy as a Democrat.

Despite the prevailing belief that a Trump vs. Biden election holds few surprises, some individuals in DC power center harbor doubts about either candidate securing the nomination.

A former White House official remarked to The Pavlovic Today that the upcoming conventions will be “interesting” to watch.

There is a faction that advocates for a “unity ticket,” exemplified by the potential candidacy of Liz Cheney-Joe Manchin for the White House. Whether this is wishful thinking or a concrete plan to thwart Trump remains uncertain.

Additionally, there is skepticism within this group regarding Gavin Newsom’s decision not to run, leaving room for speculation about his potential candidacy in the end.

National security supplemental deal, according to Senator Schumer is “not a done deal yet.” Senate Majority Leader said “There are a handful of issues that have not yet been agreed to.”

Former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy is back in the news. This morning on Fox, McCarthy said that the members of the Freedom Caucus are the “ones who have stopped the Republicans from being able to govern.”

The United States and the United Kingdom have executed additional joint airstrikes targeting the Houthi group in Yemen. This action is in retaliation for the Houthi group’s attacks on merchant ships in the Red Sea.

Richard Grenell has responded to the “madman” Kosovo PM Albin Kurtis decision to unilaterally create instability in the banking system by suspending the use of the Serbian dinar in Kosovo.

“More unilateral moves to create instability from Albin Kurti – this time with the banking system,” stated Grenell in response to the question Pavlovic Today raised at the State Department.

“The Biden Administration has approved giving this madman Javelin missiles – it is akin to creating another war. Congress should stop it immediately,” he noted.

“Kurti has proven to instigate conflicts – which is why every single international organization, including NATO, has condemned his past actions.”
