Good Morning DC,
What is “Libs of TikTok”? I was not sure until I took a look at what is basically a culture war news aggregator – nothing more, nothing less.
A journalist named Taylor Lorenz has gone out of her way to reveal the name and home address of the private citizen who owns the “Libs of TikTok” Twitter account, crossing an ethical boundary along the way.
I do not remember anyone in the legacy media going after The Anonymous, a White House Official in the Trump administration, when he published an OpEd in The New York Times, do you?
Hypocrisy is everywhere.
Taylor Lorenz cried on national TV, and, yet, she kept doing the things she didn’t want to experience herself. There are so many different ways of doing journalism, yet Taylor keeps choosing a method that requires her to hurt others and be ruthless. Doxxing is not mandatory. That’s Taylor’s choice.
The Jon Stewart Show’s ratings on Apple TV are going through the floor. The former host of “The Daily Show” used to be cool, but it is not working anymore. Wokeness has an expiration date and low ratings. And, frankly, the seemingly limitless supply of similar shows is turning the whole country every day aligned more with the conservative side of things as the left drives off the deep end.
CNN+ looks doomed, Axios was first to tell the world. Americans are not excited about CNN, and the mainstream media is melting away like an iceberg on a hot summer day.
Jack Dorsey said he witnessed CNN trying to “create conflict” in Ferguson. What else was Dorsey privy to? A little bit of truth would not hurt anyone. Twitter Boardroom TikTok? We all know where Dorsey lives, so if Taylor Lorenz were to link to Jack’s address, it would not be doxxing.
Oh, and remember when I told you yesterday that Biden was not pleased with the annulment of the national mask mandate and that anything can happen? The Biden administration announced that they will be fighting to bring the mask mandate back to life.
