UK Prime Minster Boris Johnson has managed to barely survive a vote of no-confidence this evening in Westminster, but the MPs of the Conservative party tell The Pavlovic Today that “he’s toast.” Why? Because PM Johnson got worse result than either Theresa May or Margaret Thatcher.
- 148 MPs voted against
- 211 MPs voted for
Ahead of the vote, PM Johnson addressed the MPs and behind closed doors appealed to them to “stick with him” and leave the Partygate scandal behind.
The Prime Minister, threatened through the Whips office to call a General Election if the vote was close, the Pavlovic Today was told by the source in Westminster. Surely it’s time for the cabinet members to tell the PM to resign?
