President Biden will address the nation tonight following the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump during a rally in Pennsylvania. Biden issued a statement confirming he had been briefed on the incident.

“I’m grateful to hear that he’s safe and doing well,” Biden said. “I’m praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information.”

The President expressed gratitude to the Secret Service for swiftly ensuring Trump’s safety and emphasized the need to condemn such violence unequivocally.

“There’s no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it,” Biden declared.

Biden is expected to deliver a strong condemnation of the assassination attempt during his address tonight. The Biden campaign is pulling down all their campaign TV ads momentarily.

Biden will deliver his speech at the Rehoboth police department.
