POTUS prepares for an evening with supporters in New Hampshire.
Good afternoon from New Jersey. I’m your print pooler today.
Pool is on its way to the Morristown airport.
The president will arrive in Marine One separately in the 4pm hour.
Pool has received no scheduling updates or statements today from the White House, but as you well know, the president has been active on Twitter as he prepares for an evening with supporters in New Hampshire.
He also called into a radio show, on which he touted his former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski’s possible Senate bid.
A few notes before we get into the thick of it:
-We can’t know whether the president will talk, but if the past is precedent, we should all prepare for a tarmac gaggle.
-Pool will try to push as many quotes out as possible, although we’ll be on the smaller plane, which means that as soon as we get inside, we’ll be in a black hole.
-A gaggle should play out on television on a slight delay, if you’re looking for full and urgent quotes on a specific topic.
-I’ll send color from the event where it’s warranted, but the rally itself is open press.
