Democratic Representative Linda Sanchez of California, along with immigration reform leaders and House Democratic leadership, will respond to House Republicans’ proposed legislation, H.R. 2, also known as the Child Deportation Act, which is expected to harm both immigrant and border communities, as well as negatively impact the nation’s economy.

Furthermore, Congresswoman Sánchez will introduce the US Citizenship Act of 2023, a long-awaited solution to immigration challenges. After the press conference, the congresswoman will formally present the bill.
