The House Committee on Financial Services is slated to hold a hearing Wednesday morning on digital assets featuring the most prominent crypto players in the United States.

Yesterday, Circle’s CEO Jeremy Allaire shared his testimony ahead of his appearance in Congress.
Sam Bankman-Fried of FTX was at the Capitol last night preparing for the hearing. “Mic check complete! FTX US is excited to share our key principles for crypto market regulation (read more at http://ftxpolicy.com) and we’re looking forward to tomorrow’s U.S. House Committee on Financial Services hearing,” Brett Harrison, a person in charge of the US operation in the US said on Twitter.
FTX US is a separate corporate entity and company from FTX with a similar governance and capital structure. It also has its own web site, FTX.us, and mobile app.
Denelle Dixon, CEO and Executive Director of Stellar Development Foundation said that she’ll “make the case that stablecoins are a critical component of a more equitable financial system.” She added “There are some incredible solutions in the Stellar ecosystem already solving problems created by gaps in the existing system. I’ll shine a light on them.’
Brian P. Brooks, CEO of Bitfury Group shared his testimony ahead of the hearing.
