Trump said he is a big hockey and Caps fan.

“They’re winners, they know how to win and I think you’re gonna see that in a little while.”
Trump read some stats about Ovechkin and recapped the Caps’ road to the Cup.
“I have a feeling you’re going to be doing it again. You’re champions, you have a champion’s heart.”
The Caps owner Ted Leonsis thanked the fans and the president for hosting his team in the Oval.
Ovechkin thanked Trump for having them and said they will try to win again this year.
The president did not take questions.
Also present were NHL commissioner Gary Bergman, keeper of the cup Phil Pritchard, and Caps coach Todd Rierden.
Kellyanne Conway was in the back of Oval wearing a Caps hat. Jared Kushner, Dan Scavino, Rudy Giuliani, and Jay Sekulow were there as well.
