Serbian Ambassador to the US, Marko Djuric, has strongly responded to the violent events that occurred on Monday in northern Kosovo.

In a statement, Djuric held Kosovo’s PM Albin Kurti personally accountable for the bloodshed, stating, “Albin Kurti is personally responsible for human blood spilled today in the north of Kosovo.”

Djuric further emphasized the urgency of the situation, urging the international community to take decisive action against what he described as Kurti’s “destructive” agenda.

He stated, “The final hour has stiffened for the international community to take decisive action against Albin Kurti’s destructive agenda.”

Djuric highlighted that Serbian authorities have been raising concerns about the situation in Kosovo for months and stressed the need to prevent further conflict and protect innocent lives.

He emphasized that turning a blind eye to the situation is not an option, adding, “We’ve been sounding the alarm for months, and now it’s crucial to prevent further conflict and protect innocent lives.”
