President Donald Trump said new Iranian leaders are seeking talks with the United States following joint U.S.-Israeli strikes, according to an interview with The Atlantic.

Trump said he has agreed to engage in discussions.

In separate remarks carried by Fox News, the president said 48 Iranian leaders were killed in the strikes. Both Trump and Iranian officials have confirmed that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was among those killed.

President Trump is expend to return to White House this evening. So far, the White House correspondents did not have press access to Trump since Friday.
