Daily Download with the latest updates on the transition of the President-Elect Donald J. Trump.

29 days away from Inauguration Day, President-elect has started his day at the Presidential Daily Briefing at Mar-A-Lago. Already this morning, he made an announcement for his choice to appoint Kellyanne Conway to serve as his Senior Advisor. Conway is the first female campaign manager of either major party to win a presidential general election. Conway will work with senior leadership to effectively message and execute the Administration’s legislative priorities and actions.

“I want to thank the President-elect for this amazing opportunity. A Trump presidency will bring real change to Washington and to Americans across this great nation. I am humbled and honored to play a role in helping transform the movement he has led into a real agenda of action and results,’ said Conway.

This morning, after giving the heads up to outgoing President Obama, President-elect Trump made an official statement that the resolution under consideration at the United Nations Security Council regarding Israeli settlement should be vetoed.

“As the United States has long maintained, peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians will only come through direct negotiations between the parties, and not through the imposition of terms by the United Nations. This puts Israel in a very poor negotiating position and is extremely unfair to all Israelis,” said President-elect.

Yesterday, President-elect Trump spoke to reporters at Mar-A-Lago regarding the recent terrorist attacks in Turkey and Germany and reaffirmed his views on taking strong measures against Muslim citizens coming from the countries that export terrorism. President-elect said that his measures may upset only those who are preoccupied about political correctness, but that it won’t make him back down from introducing strong security measures against the attacks on humanity.

Today, the news regarding national security adviser Gen. Flynn’s meeting with the far-right Freedom Party’s candidate Norbert Hofer has been dismissed as fake. Gen Flynn insists that he has never talked to the Austrian politician.

President-elect will remain in Mar-A-Lago for the rest of the week holding numerous meetings and to celebrate the Christmas holidays.
We will resume with our Daily Download with the latest updates on transition next week.
