After Trump spoke at the church, one of the volunteers, Ada Ingram, approached the pool. She said Trump coming to her town will bring the community closer together.
 

After Trump spoke at the church, one of the volunteers, Ada Ingram, approached the pool. She said Trump coming to her town will bring the community closer together.

 “I’d vote for him again,” she said.  

“I enjoyed him coming. I think it’s a godsend. I’m sorry. The situation is bad. And there are going to be people who will say why did he come to my town.  I don’t know why. I don’t why the hurricane happened. But there is a reason. “

She also described some of the scenes that were out of view of the pool because of the crowd.  

She said President Trump signed several hats and bibles including one of a 12-year-old boy. The gesture drew a large roar of applause from the group.  

“He signed his bible,” she said. 

She said she knew 10 of the people killed.
