Hotel Experience 216

The hottest—and largest—hospitality trade show in North America is now open at HX: The Hotel Experience, November 13-15, 2016, in NYC at the Jacob K. Javits Center.

During the next three days, the movers and shakers of the hotel industry will be showing new trends at the Jacob Davits Center in New York City.

Myriad exhibitors are gathering to showcase new products and technology geared at enhacing guest experience.

To determine what’s important to travelers when selecting a vacation or business trip location, a recent survey of 1,000 men and women in the U.S. was conducted by Social Science Research Solutions (SSRS).

When asked if they preferred to stay at eco-friendly establishments, an overwhelming 71% of the respondents reported that it was important.

The survey also reported that breakfast included in the rate was considered to be an important offering in selecting a place to stay by 41% of the respondents.  Other top amenities chosen were free Wi-Fi (34%), late check-out (27%) and room or cabin upgrades (24%).

Business travelers across the U.S. and Canada say they want more standard and USB outlets in rooms, along with chargers for smartphones and/or laptops.

The Pavlovic Today will be present at the Hotel Experience 2016  as we are launching a lifestyle section on our media platform.
