Serbia has seven more new cases of coronavirus.

As of today, Serbia has 55 confirmed cases of COVID 19, seven more new cases than yesterday.

According to the latest report issued by 8 pm local time, 7 out of 18 people tested positive the Ministry of Health said.

Yesterday, president  of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic declared a national emergency. He also criticized the EU’s decision to prohibit the export of medical equipment to all non-EU countries. “European solidarity exists only on paper”, he said. 

Vucic said that Serbia is now turning to China for help and he also revealed that he was forced to shop for respirators on a semi gray market.

All Serbian nationals currently abroad will have to go through a mandatory 14-day quarantine upon their return. Entry for all foreign nationals has been suspended.
