Secretary Blinken issued a statement on North Macedonia’s National Day praising its progress toward European integration.
“Unity in Europe and the pursuit of our democratic values is more important now than ever,” said Blinken pledging the US support to North Macedonia on its European path.
The United States will “continue to stand with you as you make great strides toward increasing the prosperity of all your citizens, improving the rule of law, and strengthening your democratic institutions,” according to Blinken.
“Best wishes on this special day,” the Secretary of State extended his warm message.
