Ahead of the address, the Office of the President featured president Vucic facing a screen of world leaders attending virtually.

Earlier this morning, President Biden kicked off his Summit for Democracy by addressing world leaders and challenges the state of democracy faces.

Biden said that protecting democracy is the “challenge of our time” and noted that “half of all democracies have experienced a decline in at least one aspect of democracy over the last 10 years, including the United States.”
