POTUS is traveling with acting DoD secretary Patrick Shanahan and secretary of the Army Mark Esper, per an administration aide, as well as Stephen Miller and Derek Lyons, per in-town pool. Esper and Shanahan arrived ahead of Marine One. Peter Navarro is also on the trip; he also arrived at JBA ahead of Marine One and stood outside the president’s entry to AF1, arms leaning on the top of the movable stairway.
We are on board the smaller AF1 for the short hop to Ohio. Wheels up momentarily.
