A travel health insurance policy covers the costs of emergency medical assistance, hospitalization, prescription medications, and transportation to medical facilities. Assistance services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Zec noted that if the insured party is unable to contact assistance immediately, it is important to keep all medical documents and receipts so that reimbursement for covered expenses can be requested after returning home.
According to Zec, the 10% fair discount applies to travel health insurance premiums for international trips—whether for business or leisure—lasting up to 30 days. The discount also applies to travel insurance packages regardless of their specific structure. These special benefits are available throughout the duration of the fair, which concludes on March 8, 2026. Pensioner Card holders, however, can take advantage of similar discounts year-round.
Zec also provided examples of Travel Health Insurance (THI) pricing for a seven-day trip to Europe. An individual policy costs approximately 1,200 Serbian dinars with the 10% fair discount, while a family policy for three members costs around 2,400 dinars after the discount. As he noted, this represents a relatively small cost for the comfort and peace of mind it provides during a week-long trip.
He also reminded travelers that customers who purchase policies online through the company’s website receive a 10% discount year-round.
