Kneeland Youngblood of Pharos Capital Group hosted a fundraiser yesterday in Dallas, Texas for Biden.

“We’ve had 1.3 million people contribute to our campaign,” Biden said boasting with 500,000 of new contributors.

“Donald, I’m sorry I can’t help you,” Biden joked about a man with crushing debt—a jest he has repeated since Trump was ordered to  post a $454 million bond.

He highlighted the state of the economy and the world four years ago at the onset of the pandemic, referencing a revelation from Bob Woodward’s book that Trump knew about the severity of the virus, along with some of Trump’s other comments about Covid.

Biden asserted that Trump “means what he says,” citing his remarks about being a dictator for a day. “The greatest threat he poses is to our democracy,” Biden warned.

He referenced Trump’s recent “bloodbath” remarks and mentioned Liz Cheney’s refusal to support Trump.

“The stakes couldn’t be higher across the board,” Biden declared. He also endorsed Colin Allred over Ted Cruz for the Senate seat from Texas.

Biden, mentioning his age as “41,” shifted focus to the age of their ideas, stressing their relevance.

Trump is facing the deadline to pay $454 million fine in a civil fraud case. If he fails to pay on March 25th, AG Letitia James is prepared to seize his assets.

The House Oversight Committee hearing on President Biden titled “Influence Peddling: Examining Joe Biden’s Abuse of Public Office” was nothing short of a media spectacle.

“I have yet to hear in the chairman’s opening the allegation that they are specifically charging the president of the United States with. I am hearing about the ‘Biden family.’ I am hearing about this and that. I am not hearing the specific allegation by this committee. What is it? It is not here. And that is the problem. The story is when this committee knew they were working with falsified evidence? That is the story,” said AOC.

House and Senate leaders unveiled a 1,012-page minibus package overnight. They are urgently working to secure a floor vote in the House tomorrow, with plans for a Senate vote as soon as possible to prevent a partial government shutdown by midnight Friday.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is scheduled to address the Senate Finance Committee this morning. She will discuss various tax proposals outlined in the administration’s FY2025 budget plan, including enhancements to the child tax credit and the introduction of new taxes for the wealthy.

The US Ambassador to Serbia, Christopher Hill, stated that Serbia is presently closer to becoming a NATO partner than Kosovo.

“If you look at who is a NATO partner, Serbia is much closer to NATO than Kosovo. Currently, yes. That is very true now. We work with the Serbian army every day, we’ve had exercises, training, a range of things with the Serbian army… Now we are doing much more together than with the KLA or whatever it has evolved into,” Hill told RTS.

The UK is on track to join the CPTPP trade group later this year, boosting the partnership to represent 15% of global GDP, totaling £12 trillion in 2022. Investment between the UK and CPTPP countries is expected to increase facilitated by provisions in the agreement aimed at reducing barriers and fostering more inward investment.
