Good Morning DC!

The next round of diplomatic talks between Ukraine and Russia is expected to take place today.

The war in Ukraine needs to end as soon as possible with a negotiated peace treaty. As the situation heats up in Iraq, the longer the war in Ukraine prolongs, the higher the chances are that simultaneous challenges will emerge against the West in conflict zones worldwide.

In a video broadcast last night, Zelenskyy again called for NATO to impose a no-fly zone over Ukraine.

Instead of continuous calls for a no-fly zone that won’t change Biden’s hard no on the US direct combat involvement against Russia, political leaders should focus on bringing the parties together around the negotiating table.

The “Homes for Ukraine” scheme is starting today, and any individual, charity, and business can register online to bring people even if they have no ties to the UK.

“We want to do everything that we possibly can, and it is important to bear in mind there is no cap for this scheme. For everyone who is willing to provide support or a home to a Ukrainian family, the government will provide financial support,” said Michael Gove.
