Leonid Volkov, former chief of staff to the late Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, was assaulted outside his residence in Lithuania.

Kira Yarmysh, spokesperson for Navalny, reported the incident, stating, “Leonid Volkov has just been attacked outside his house. Someone broke a car window and sprayed tear gas in his eyes, after which the attacker started hitting Leonid with a hammer.”

President Biden is scheduled to travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin today to deliver a speech on job initiatives. During his visit, he will also participate in a campaign event.

Meanwhile, members of President Biden’s Cabinet and senior Administration officials are traveling the nation to engage directly with the American populace.

On March 13, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen will embark on a trip to Kentucky. Her focus will be on showcasing how the private sector investments catalyzed by the Inflation Reduction Act are providing significant advantages to areas characterized by lower incomes and educational attainment levels.

On March 14, Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su will journey to North Carolina. Her agenda will revolve around addressing the quality of employment opportunities in sectors historically dominated by women, such as those within the care economy.

Additionally, she will explore strategies to broaden avenues for women to secure well-compensated, unionized positions aimed at revitalizing America’s infrastructure, following Equal Pay Day on March 12.


It’s official: Biden and Trump are set for a rematch in November 2024. Last night in Georgia, Trump clinched enough delegates to secure the GOP nomination.

In a video message released last night, Trump declared himself the official nominee of the Republican Party. “Our country is in serious trouble,” he asserted, vowing to spearhead his campaign towards victory.

“Now, the general election truly begins, and the contrast could not be clearer. Donald Trump is a threat to our democracy and our fundamental freedoms,” said VP Kamala Harris.


Both the House and the Senate are in session today.

The House is scheduled to vote on a bill aimed at banning TikTok from the United States.

President Vladimir Putin, in an interview with state media published Wednesday, asserted that Moscow is prepared to utilize nuclear weapons in the event of a threat to the existence of the Russia, but emphasized that “there has never been such a need.”
