White House Correspondent Ksenija Pavlovic Mcateer gives her take on the latest news from the White House

Good Morning DC,

Early this morning, Elon Musk announced that the “Twitter deal is temporarily on hold pending details supporting calculation that spam/fake accounts do indeed represent less than 5% of users.”

Last night, Musk stated that “Trump should be restored on Twitter.” Moments later, he said that Biden was not elected to restore the country, but “actually everyone just wanted less drama.”

Now, regarding the in-depth story The Covid Roulette: The Hard Truth About The WHCA Dinner, I did with the leading health scientists about the risks taken at the WHCA dinner, I will only say this.

Stories in public interest matter.

If it’s in public interest to know, I’ll do it. Especially if they’re stonewalling the issue pretending it’s not the big deal while all hard evidence point to the contrary.

Truth does not have a party affiliation nor a club membership.

Your top news stories of today are below.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao said they decided to suspend LUNA and UST trading.

“I am very disappointed with how this UST/LUNA incident was handled (or not handled) by the Terra team. We requested their team to restore the network, burn the extra minted LUNA, and recover the UST peg. So far, we have not gotten any positive response or much response at all,” said Zhao.

FOREIGN AFFAIRS

The EU and Britain are closer to a war trade over the Northern Ireland Brexit deal.

“The Foreign Secretary noted this with regret and said the situation in Northern Ireland is a matter of internal peace and security for the United Kingdom, and if the EU would not show the requisite flexibility to help solve those issues, then as a responsible government we would have no choice but to act,” said the Foreign Office.

The EU’s chief Brexit negotiator said the EU would not give in to Lithreats or blackmail.

Lord Frost, former Brexit minister, said at the Heritage Foundation in Washington DC, that Joe Biden should not interfere in the UK-EU issues over the Northern Ireland protocol.

“We don’t need lectures from others about the peace process and the Good Friday Agreement,” said Lord Frost.
