THE WHITE HOUSE
At the White House, President Biden has only one event today on his public schedule at 4pm.
According to a White House official, to mark Pride Month, President Biden will sign an Executive Order Advancing Equality for LGBTQI+ Individuals and welcome LGBTQI+ families, advocates, elected officials, and leaders to the White House for a reception.
The press briefing is scheduled for 3 pm.

At The Wall Street Journal’s CFO Network Summit, SEC Chair Gary Gensler said that the bill introduced by Senators Lummis and Gillibrand might “undermine” market protections.

FOREIGN AFFAIRS
Rwanda asylum flight blocked after an intervention from the European Court of Human Rights. However, the UK government says they are confident the next flight will go ahead.
“We remain committed to this policy. These repeated legal barriers are very similar to those that we experienced with all other removal flights and we believe we are fully compliant to our domestic and international obligations and preparations for our future flights and the next flight has already begun,” said Home Secretary Priti Patel.
The European Union has launched two legal challenges against the UK over Boris Johnson’s plans to alter Northern Ireland’s post-Brexit trade agreement. “Let’s call a spade a spade,” said the EU Commission vice president Maroš Šef?ovi?.
Let there be no doubt, there is no legal nor political justification whatsoever for unilaterally changing an international agreement. Opening the door to unilaterally changing an international agreement is a breach of international law as well. So let’s call a spade a spade. This is illegal. This UK bill is extremely damaging to mutual trust and respect between the EU and the UK. It has created deep uncertainty and casts a shadow over our overall cooperation.
