This luxurious community in Las Vegas is well-known for its bespoke homes, and the estate hosting the fundraiser was nothing short of spectacular. Five bedrooms spread over 8,500 square feet and a reported value of $3.2 million according to Redfin.
Of course, no trip to Las Vegas is complete without a little drama, and that’s exactly what the President’s motorcade encountered. Protesters waving signs proclaiming “Trump won” and “Nevada is MAGA country” were spotted outside the airport, but the President soldiered on, passing some of Sin City’s most glamorous hotels, including the iconic Bellagio, Caesar’s Palace, and Trump International.

The White House has released new data showing how President Biden’s prescription drug law is lowering healthcare costs and prescription drug prices for seniors in the US. The law allows Medicare to negotiate lower prescription drug prices for seniors, and it caps the cost of insulin at $35. It also requires drug companies to pay rebates to Medicare if they raise prices faster than inflation.

In the Black Sea on Tuesday, a Russian fighter jet damaged the propeller of a US Air Force drone before forcing it down, according to a statement from US European Command. The incident occurred as the Reaper drone and two Russian Su-27 aircraft were flying over international waters. One of the Russian jets intentionally flew in front of and dumped fuel on the unmanned drone multiple times, before hitting the propeller and prompting the drone’s downfall. The Russian aircraft had been flying “in the vicinity” of the drone for approximately 30 to 40 minutes prior to the collision, according to Pentagon spokesman Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder.

The New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) denied claims that Signature Bank was shut down due to its involvement with cryptocurrencies, stating the regulator’s action was not meant as an “anti-crypto message.”
The NYDFS took over Signature Bank last weekend and handed it to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), following similar actions by regulators in California. Both Signature and Silvergate Bank, which recently announced its voluntary liquidation, served crypto clients.
