President Trump began his day at Mar-a-Lago, by unloading a series of angry tweets towards LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo Ball, one of three UCLA basketball players who was arrested for shoplifting during their trip to China.

President Trump arrived at Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida yesterday evening for the Thanksgiving holidays, accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump and son Barron Trump.

The first family arrived at Palm Beach International Airport at 5:45 pm and was greeted by cheers and whistles from supporters at the airport. After a few minutes of shaking hands and signing autographs, Trump and his family made their way to the Mar-a-Lago resort via motorcade.

Mar-a-Lago, built by cereal heiress and socialite Marjorie Merriweather Post, means “sea to lake,” alluding the estate’s location between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway.

Angry tweets towards LaVar Ball

This morning around 6:00 am ET President Trump began his day,  by unloading a series of angry tweets towards LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo Ball, one of three UCLA basketball players who was arrested for shoplifting during their trip to China.

Trump’s apparent twitter frenzy is in response to LaVar’s recent interview with CNN, in which he angrily refused to thank President Trump for his involvement in the release of his son from prison in China.

In response, Trump unloaded the twitter statement stressing that: “It wasn’t the White House, it wasn’t the State Department, it wasn’t father LaVar’s so-called people on the ground in China that got his son out of a long-term prison sentence-IT WAS ME.” However, Trump did not stop there but went on even further to insult LaVar calling him a “poor man’s version of Don King, but without the hair.”
