Trump supporters wearing MAGA hats, greeted president Trump at Lima Allen County Airport.
AF1 touched down at the Lima Allen County Airport at 2:15 pm, after a flight that lasted about an hour and fifteen minutes.
Judd Deere came back to the press cabin briefly for an off-record planning note; no other administration officials came to the back of the plane.
POTUS deplaned at 2:25 pm. He was greeted by:
Representative Jim Jordan
United States Representative from Ohio’s 4th Congressional District
State Senator Matt Huffman
Majority Whip of the Ohio State Senate and Senator from Ohio’s 12th Senate District
State Representative Bob Cupp
State Representative from Ohio’s 4th House District
There was a crowd of about 100 supporters, some wearing red MAGA hats, behind a barricade nearby. “We love you!” One woman called out. The president walked over to the barricade and shook hands, signed hats and books, and spoke with people; your pooler couldn’t hear what he said, although co-pooler Brian Bennett of Time heard a “thank you, everybody.” We were ushered away and into the motorcade fans while POTUS was still talking to the crowd.
At 2:32 pm, we are about to be rolling to the Lima Army Tank Plant.
