Piers Morgan is an egomaniac. A one rule for himself and another for his victims kind of guy, a mastermind of self-promotion, the likes of Donald J. Trump and better.
Piers can spell t-a-b-l-o-i-d in no time, the media hitman makes headlines by inserting himself in every single story. That is a serious talent most Brits do not have.
I liked Piers’ straightforward style and his Life Stories are a good piece of journalism, but since he lost the Good Morning Britain gig, he went on to do what he does best, attack others.
His fine tabloid approach attracts the attention of the housewives in the American suburbia at the checkout at Walmart, but Piers wants to be more, on par with the politicians he attacked until Andrew Bridgen MP predicted live on air that by Christmas, Good Morning Britain would fire him. He was proved right, just a few weeks later than he estimated.
On Saturday night, I scrolled down my Twitter feed. When Piers launched an attack on Novak Djokovic it got my attention.
It read: “Pathetic spoiled brat behaviour by Novak Djokovic at the Olympics today – smashing racquets, ranting & raving, & pulling out of the doubles thus costing his partner a medal. He let his teammates down, his fans down, & his country down. Shameful antics from a supposed champion.”
I responded:
You just can’t get over the fact Piers Morgan that Novak Djokovic won Wimbledon. Many times.
All this coming from a TV presenter who behaved like a brat when he stormed out of the GMB studio in the middle of the show.
Piers let his team down, his viewers down & his country down.
Two seconds later, Piers blocked me.
For a moment, I thought it was a glitch.
Really, Piers?
Piers Morgan proved my point and showed the whole world that he couldn’t take any criticism. He can bash hard-working people like Novak Djokovic and attack careers, because like was the case with Trump, only a few stand up to his bullying.
Piers is deviously brilliant on one thing. He reads the news cycle and makes a sensation of his attacks many of which are so off the mark.
Piers is certainly not a free speech warrior. He is a censor who can’t debate to same standards he claims to support and throws in the face of others.
Piers Morgan is an old guard bully. His ratings are going through the floor. Oh wait! He does not appear on anything on the television or media. Only his own Twitter shit-show.
