Vice President Kamala Harris released a statement following the Republican debate last tonight, asserting that none of the candidates who took the stage managed to secure a victory.
“Instead, the American people heard how much they stand to lose from an extremist agenda,” the statement elaborated.
“One by one, each extremist Republican candidate laid out a vision for an America that is less fair, less free, and less safe.”
Harris specifically pointed out that the Republican contenders would “benefit special interests and the ultra-wealthy,” dismantle social security, retreat from “fundamental rights and basic freedoms,” and reverse the economic policies instituted by Joe Biden.
“These extremists focus on unnecessary debates meant to divide our nation, hoping that the American public will not overlook their lack of a positive agenda,” Harris concluded.
