This evening, at the South Carolina Democratic Party Blue Palmetto Dinner, VP Kamala Harris hit out hard at the GOP.

“Republican leaders has shown that they have no interest in making progress on the issues that matter most to the American people.”

Harris did not hide her thoughts about how Trump’s Republican Party has tolerated the attack on Capitol Hill.

Harris commented on the January 6 hearing that took place Thursday night,”Some extremist leaders even promoted conspiracy theories that lead to an attack on our nation’s capital. An attack that far too many elected Republicans still refuse to condemn.”

Referring to the content presented at the January 6 hearing, Harris said what happened on January 6 was an assault on American values and ideals.

“As I’m sure most of us saw during last night’s hearing, what happened on January 6 was not just an assault on a building. It was an assault on the institution’s values and ideals that generations of Americans marched, picketed and shed blood to establish and defend. South Carolina we are not going to let arsonists set a fire to our democracy.”

Today on TRUTH social, former President Donald Trump lashed out at the first day of public hearings and denied any responsibility for the attack.

President Biden referred to January 6 as “one of the darkest chapters in our nation’s history.”
