In a rally that brought Hollywood star power to Nevada’s political landscape, Vice President Kamala Harris was joined by Jennifer Lopez at the Craig Ranch Amphitheater. She took the stage in olive-colored dress to cheers of “Thank you” and “We love you, J-Lo!”
Lopez reinforced the political message ahead of the Election Day on November 5. “You are the ones who are going to send a message — that Las Vegas is Harris country!” she declared, a call to action that was met with applause.
“Kamala Harris gets it… As president of the United States, Kamala will fight for us… and the freedom to choose to do what we do with our bodies,” Lopez emphasized with the reminder of Harris’s commitment to women’s rights and autonomy.

Lopez commented on the comedian skit by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe at the Trump rally at Madison Square Garden calling Puerto Rico a floating “island of garbage.”
Lopez spoke in support of Harris. “I am Puerto Rican, and yes, I was born here, and we are Americans,” Lopez said, adding, “I am a mother. I am a sister. I am an actor and an entertainer. And I like Hollywood endings. I like when the good guy, and in this case, the good girl wins,” she said.
“It wasn’t just Puerto Ricans who were offended that day. It was every Latino,” she said.
Lopez made clear why she was standing beside Harris. “Over Kamala Harris’ entire career, she has proven to us who she is.”
Lopez had previously taken the stage at President Joe Biden’s inauguration in January 2021.
