Who becomes the next Speaker of the House will affect many global affairs decisions, and those supporting Jim Jordan do not want more US taxpayers’ dollars to be sent to Ukraine.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene bluntly characterized the meeting of the Republican Conference as a futile endeavor. “It’s a waste of time,” she said. “When you’re in a tight game, you don’t put an injured player or a sick player on the field.”
