Nikki Haley’s alma mater, Clemson University’s Republican Chapter, came out in support of Donald Trump. According to the statement issued by the Trump campaign the latest endorsement ” adds to over 150 endorsements from current and former elected officials and the 250 grassroots leaders who earlier joined in supporting President Trump” in the Palmetto State.
“As the oldest Republican club at Clemson University, our members have seen many Republicans who talk a big game but invariably capitulate to their donors and special interests,” said Clemson University College Republican Chair Trevor Tiedeman.
“Nikki Haley, the former Governor of South Carolina and Clemson alumni, is a prime example of such a politician: she’s bought, sold, and owned by deranged billionaires, the Never Trump dregs of the Bush era, and the Military Industrial Complex.”
Explaining the motivation for their endorsement of Trump, Dakota Wilkinson, President of the USC College Republicans said, “President Trump is the leader we need to evict Joe Biden from the White House.”
Haley is set to face former President Trump in the South Carolina primary on February 24th. According to a poll released by Fabrizio, Lee, and Associates, Trump leads Haley by a more than 2-to-1 margin in the Palmetto State.

One of them is this: a foreign country can spend years being almost completely invisible in Washington until, suddenly, someone discovers it can be useful in a political fight at home. And just like that, everybody becomes an…
