The Senate will convene at 11:30 a.m. today for a pro forma session only. With no business expected to be conducted.
Senator Sanders is expected to hold a pen and pad today in the Daily Press Gallery (S-316) at 11:30 a.m. to speak on the budget.
When the Senate adjourns today, there are two further pro forma sessions scheduled next week while the Senate is in recess:
· Tuesday, October 12 at 12 noon
· Thursday, October 14 at 5:00 p.m.
The Senate will return for business on Monday, October 18 at 3:00 p.m. with the next vote scheduled for that evening at 5:30 p.m. on confirmation of Gustavo Gelpi, PR, to be U.S. Circuit Judge for the First Circuit.
