Secretary of the Army Mark Esper is also traveling with the pair.
Air Force representatives secured the ramp, prior to the ladies exiting the plane and greeting Fort Bragg officials. Trump was taken in a private vehicle for her next stop.
Soldiers with different Fort Bragg units provided security around the perimeter of the field.
The White House announced on Friday that the ladies are visiting North Carolina to see demonstrations of special operations capabilities, tour the post’s facilities and receive a briefing on the selection and training of special operations service members.
Their visit coincides with Month of the Military Child, which recognizes the sacrifices of children of the nation’s service members.
Trump and Pence are scheduled to meet with middle school students during the visit.
This is Pence’s second visit to Fort Bragg in less than six months, as she met with spouses and soldiers who responded to Hurricane Florence efforts in November.
