Yesterday, President-Elect Donald J. Trump responded to Obama’s decision to declare 35 Russian diplomats persona non grata and give them 72 hours to leave the country.
“It’s time for our country to move on to bigger and better things. Nevertheless, in the interest of our country and its great people, I will meet with leaders of the intelligence community next week in order to be updated on the facts of this situation, ” said President-elect Donald J. Trump.
So far, no contact between President-Elect Donald J. Trump and Putin has been made on the matter and there is nothing scheduled on that front considering that the priority for the President-elect is the meeting with the leaders of the intelligence community scheduled for the next week.
The Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) announced today Inaugural parade participant line-up for January 20, 2017. There will be more than 8,000 parade participants representing forty organizations including high school and university marching bands, equestrian corps, first responders, and veterans groups.
Today, President-elect Trump will meet for the second time with former Texas agriculture commissioner, Susan Combs. Further, he will meet with his long-time friend and a loyal supporter Howard Lorber, CEO of Vector Group and chair of Douglas Elliman.
Later today, President-Elect Donald J. Trump will be traveling to Chicago to attend a Republican fundraising luncheon at The Chicago Club. For New Year’s President-elect will be staying at Mar-A-Lago and will be back in New York on New Year’s Day.
