UK’s PM Boris Johnson admitted to hospital tonight for tests due to persistent COVID-19 symptoms 10 days after testing positive.

“On the advice of his doctor, the Prime Minister has tonight been admitted to hospital for tests,” the No.10 Downing Street said in a statement. The Spokesman insisted that the PM Johnson has been admitted to the hospital ten days after being tested positive for COVID-19 as “a precautionary step, as the Prime Minister continues to have persistent symptoms of coronavirus ten days after testing positive for the virus.”

Beginning his remarks during the Sunday night press briefing, Trump expressed well wishes to his friend, PM Boris Johnson.

“I am sure he’ll be fine. He’s a strong leader, a strong person,” President Trump said.

A few days ago, in the press briefing president, Trump gave away a clue that Boris Johnson was much harder affected by COVID19 than what was originally thought.

Piers Morgan, who has been criticizing the government’s response to coronavirus  since the beginning of the outbreak said on Twitter: ” If you’re not rooting for our Prime Minister tonight & willing him to make a speedy recovery, then you’re a despicable human being.”

Morgan also indicated that the Prime Minister is very ill including his pregnant girlfriend, Carrie.

Yesterday, Carrie made a statement about her experience with COVID-19. “I’ve spent the past week in bed with the main symptoms of Coronavirus. I haven’t needed to be tested and, after seven days of rest, I feel stronger and I’m on the mend…” She also expressed her concerns about pregnancy and COVID-19.
