PM Boris Johnson met with Volodymyr Zelenskyy in person according to the cryptic Twitter post entitled “Surprise” by the Embassy of Ukraine in London, UK.

Downing Street says that the meeting took place in Kyiv and not London as initially assumed by the Twitter post made by the Embassy of Ukraine to the UK without specifying the meeting location.

During the trip aimed at showing solidarity with Ukraine, PM Johnson and Zelenskyy met to “discuss the UK’s long term support to Ukraine” and “a new package of financial and military aid.”

The Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha posted on Facebook that “Great Britain is a leader in Ukraine’s defense support. Leader in the anti-war coalition. Leader in sanctions against the Russian aggressor.”
