In a diplomatic exchange on Sunday, Secretary of State Blinken and British Foreign Secretary Cameron engaged in phone conversation covering various pressing matters. Matt Miller, providing insights into the conversation, noted that Cameron offered a comprehensive briefing to Secretary Blinken regarding his recent meetings in Israel and the West Bank.

Central to their dialogue were critical issues such as the imperative release of all hostages and “a humanitarian pause that would allow for increased humanitarian aid delivery to civilians in Gaza”

Miller further elaborated that the two leaders delved into the intricacies of the Red Sea situation, emphasizing the necessity for international measures to hold the Houthis accountable for their series of illicit and hazardous assaults on vessels.
