According to the White House, President Biden is holding a call this morning with allies and partners to “underscore our continued support for Ukraine as it defends itself from Russian aggression.”

Secretary Blinked informed President Zelenskyy this morning on behalf of the President that he authorizing “our twentieth drawdown since September 2021 of US arms and equipment for Ukraine.”

According to Blinken, this $675 million drawdown includes additional arms, munitions, and equipment from Department of Defense inventories.

Secretary Blinken is notifying Congress today of intent to make a further $2.2 billion in long-term investments to bolster the security of Ukraine and its neighbors.

Today’s announcements will bring the total U.S. military assistance for Ukraine to approximately $15.2 billion since the beginning of the Biden Administration.
