Apple store workers have formed their first labor union in the US. As a big supporter of collective bargaining, Biden shared his thoughts on the news.

“I’m proud of them,” said Joe Biden. “Workers have a right to determine under what conditions they’re going to work or not work.”

The President said that “the thing that everybody kind of misunderstands about unions, they tend to be, especially in the trades, the best workers in the world. They go to the equivalent of four years of college. They have four years of apprenticeship, and they break their neck.”

Biden extended his support for the first labor union at Apple by stating the following: “Everybody is better off. Everybody is better off, including the final product is always better.
