In advance of former President Trump’s upcoming campaign appearance in Las Vegas, where he is slated to deliver a speech at a “Commit to Caucus” rally at Big League Dreams Las Vegas on Saturday, the Biden-Harris campaign has issued a statement highlighting the failures of the Trump administration.

Shelby Wiltz, Biden-Harris for Nevada state campaign manager, urged Nevada voters to recall that Trump poses a threat to America’s freedom, democracy, and economy, asserting that the nation is still grappling with the aftermath of his presidency.

“Nevadans have rejected Donald Trump and his extremist allies every time they’ve been on the ballot because we know he’s a threat to our freedoms, our democracy, and our economy,” stated stated Wiltz.

“Our communities are still recovering from the last time Trump was in the White House, when he left tens of thousands of Nevadans out of work,” she continued. “While President Biden is fighting to bring down costs and create good-paying jobs, Trump is rooting for our economy to crash once again.”

Wiltz also emphasized the issue of abortion rights, a critical concern for Democrats seeking to garner support from women voters.

“A vote for Donald Trump is a vote to rip away women’s freedoms in this country – something he’s already done to millions of women in America after helping to overturn Roe v. Wade,” stated Shelby Wiltz.

Trump’s presidency made an undeniable impact on women’s reproductive rights due to him stacking the Supreme Court of the United States by one-third with a conservative majority that took away the right to an abortion last June. This caused several states such as Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and many others to roll back access to abortion, including some states outright denying abortion to women in almost all cases.

“We’re going to make sure Nevadans see the stark contrast between Trump’s extreme MAGA agenda and the Biden-Harris record of supporting Nevada’s working families,” concluded Wiltz.
