Nathanael J. Smith is a Howard Hughes Medical Fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and a Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Scholar at Meharry Medical College, where he is also a medical student.
Having previously studied a variety of subjects, from rape in the Democratic Republic of Congo to the use of poetry in the public discourse, he has a keen interest in finding more efficient ways to implement scalable public health programs. Upon completion of his training, he endeavours to work as a health policy analyst/consultant as well as an emergency physician.
