Here’s what to know on December 7, 2020, about the new COVID19 cases in the District of Columbia.

On Monday, December 7, 2020, Washington D.C. has 270 new positive COVID-19 cases, bringing the District’s overall positive case total to 23,589.

701 residents have lost their lives due to COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic. According to the most recent data from the government, the biggest percentage of COVID19 cases comes from college campuses, bars, restaurants, K-12, and childcare/daycare centers. 

District of Columbia is still in phase 2 toward re-opening.
