Good Morning,

Former crypto billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried, once the golden child of digital assets, is set to be sentenced today.

I had a good relationship with Sam. I scored two exclusive interviews with him during the days when he was still the toast of DC.

The moral of the story? Trust is a currency more volatile than any digital asset.

Let’s get you caught up with the news of the day.

Today, the White House disclosed the program of events for the 2024 White House Easter Egg Roll, a tradition tracing back to 1878.

This year’s White House Easter “EGGucation” Roll will also showcase a School House Activity Area, Reading Nook, Field Trip to the Farm, Picture Day, a Physical “EGGucation” Zone, a Snack Time Tent, and more. The South Façade of the White House will be embellished with balloons, each designated with STEAM school subjects, in acknowledgment of Dr. Biden’s conviction that through EGGucation, “all students can soar.”

President Biden is scheduled to visit NYC today for a fundraiser titled “An Evening with President Biden and Presidents Obama and Clinton” at Radio City Music Hall.

The event, hosted by Stephen Colbert, is anticipated to gather significant funds, with the Biden campaign estimating over $25 million to be raised.

The event is set to include a star-studded lineup, with Mindy Kaling as the host and musical performances by Queen Latifah, Lizzo, Ben Platt, Cynthia Erivo, and Lea Michele.

Not only the Biden campaign but also Trump has weighed in on RFK Jr., branding him as “the most radical left candidate in the race.”

The Senate and the House are out today.

Secretary Blinken is slated to embark on a trip to Paris, France, and Brussels and Leuven, Belgium, from April 1st to 5th.

In Paris, he will meet with French President Macron, delving into matters concerning support for Ukraine and actions to avert escalation in the Gaza conflict.

The Secretary will then proceed to Brussels, where he will partake in the NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting, coinciding with NATO’s 75th anniversary on April 4th.

He will hold meetings with NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg, and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba.

The decision by the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to grant a positive opinion on Kosovo‘s request to join the organization has faced strong opposition from Serbia.

“We appeal to our partners in the Council of Europe to bear in mind that any decision regarding the inclusion of the self-proclaimed “Kosovo” would be a precedent that would undermine the very fundamental principles of the organization [Council of Europe],” said Peter Petkovic, Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

“Such an outcome would also be a hostile gesture towards Serbia, which has been an active and committed member of this international organization thus far,” added Petkovic.
